Adam Garratt
Adam Garratt is an artist & printmaker who often uses reclaimed materials such as building site tarpaulin & event banners to print onto. Adam makes large scale printed work that is specifically made to expand for installation. The repeat process of screen printing is a labour that provides a mass & aesthetic in Adam's work that reflects his working class background.
Adam enjoys working with the elements of transparency in materials & often makes 2 sided prints, using black with fluorescent colour blocks to highlight. Adam has exhibited prints made at Double Elephant print workshop at several exhibitions including, South West Printmaking open 2022 at Studio KIND. & CORRESPONDENCE01 shown at both Exeter Phoenix & Broadway studio Gallery in Letchworth.
