Linocut in Black and White Thurs 20th June

A one-day linocut workshop concentrating on producing a black and white print. Suitable for beginners through to experienced printmakers.
Restricting your linocut to black and white (or any other single colour) is a great way to learn the fundamentals of linocutting technique, as well as challenge yourself in your image making.
During the day we will look at examples of successful black and white lino imagery as well as all the basics of linocutting technique in both cutting the plate and printing on our Albion press.
No previous experience is necessary, and feel free to bring in sketches, drawings or any other ideas you have.
There will be an additional cost for materials.
