Karen Waterlow
I enjoy working with intaglio techniques, particularly collagraph. I often combine a number of individually inked plates to produce a more complex and very textured image. I take inspiration from the natural world, and have recently reflected environmental issues such as beach pollution in my work. I have also started working more with woodcuts and have enjoyed using this medium in a very layered and painterly way.
