Vote for Us!

Posted on Tuesday 25th September, 2018

Fiona Lovell, our Outreach Coordinator, is very proud to have been a co-investigator on the National Environmental Research Council (NERC) funded Climate Stories project.  The project was such as success that it has been nominated for the global Best Climate Solutions 2018 Award on Climate Change Communication and we would love you to add your vote.

The project was the brain child of Double Elephant member Pierrette Thomet and her husband Professor Peter Stott and arose out of their award winning WAMfest to which Double Elephant had also been invited to contribute.  The aim was to put climate scientists through an intensive series of workshops to equip them with new storytelling skills.  For her part, Fiona devised and delivered a warm-up exercise and 5 different workshops over three days which included three print animation workshops with Double Elephant associate and film maker Josh Gaunt.  Two test public engagements followed and the project culminated in a showcase event at RAMM.  Read and hear about it on the Climate Stories website.

The online voting procedure for Climate Solutions is now open so we hope you will give us a vote of confidence by going to
