  • Relief Print Weekend

    Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July, 10.00am - 4.00pm.

    Lino cut offers a range of style possibilities from strong simple forms to sophisticated multi layered complexity. Come prepared to experiment with different methods of mark making and approaches to colour. The use of other materials such as card and wood can also be explored.

  • Solar Plate Printmaking

    Tuesday 23rd July, 10.00am - 4.00pm.

    SOLD OUT Experiment with using this quick, non-toxic technique to create intaglio prints which are full of rich tones and detail. Expose your plate using just the sun, and ‘etch’ the plate with water. Use a wide variety of imagery – from photographs to drawings and collage. An excellent introduction for complete beginners and those with some experience. This course includes the cost of materials.

  • Turning Prints Into Books

    Thursday 25th July, 10.00am - 4.00pm.

    Spend a hands-on, experimental day exploring the book format as an alternative way of developing and presenting your ideas. The morning will be focused on image-making and generating ideas, using charcoal, graphite and paint to create silkscreen monoprints, and the afternoon will be spent adding text if desired, and transforming your images into simple concertina and pamphlet-fold books. This course include the cost of materials.
